TEI carries out the management of health, safety and environmental factors as its integrated part of the job. TEI’s policy is providing the integrity of environment, work health and safety (EHS). TEI:

• Develops, implements and reviews management systems and procedures to prevent activities and conditions effecting employee’s health, safety and environment.
• Decreases risks through safe technologies and operating regulations and protects all employees.
• Takes precautions preventing environmental factors effecting air, soil and water. Provides decrease in toxic wastes, appropriate treatment and disposal.
• Provides and supports efficient use of water, gas and electricity.
• Uses recyclable and environment-friendly materials as much as possible.
• Prepares, applies and reviews plans and procedures for EHS emergency situations.
• Makes periodical audits for assessing the performance of EHS management system.
• Enables continuous improvement of the system at the end of audits preparing corrective and preventive activity plans.
• Keeps EHS records to monitor constant development process.
• Searches for the opportunities of continuous development to provide the principles for EHS Management System and implements them.

With the management systems, risks and hazards are decreased; laws, regulations and requirements related to environment are met and EHS policy and planning, application, assessment and development activities are implemented.
