With high sustainability awareness, TEI does its part in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals to leave a more livable world for future generations. In addition to reducing carbon footprint and increasing renewable resources, TEI carries out sustainability projects on environment, society and governance.

Environment
TEI carries out responsible and sustainable activities by evaluating important environmental aspects of all business processes with a life cycle perspective. TEI carries out activities such as projects to reduce water consumption, use of renewable energy, use of waste heat to minimize environmental impacts such as greenhouse gas emissions, wastewater discharge, consumption of raw materials and natural resources.
Social
Since the day it was established, TEI has always observed human rights with its "Value for people and the environment" approach that it has adopted as a principle, both with the working opportunities it offers and the activities it carries out for its environment.
TEI offers social rights to improve the living conditions of its employees regardless of faith, language, race or gender. In this context, in addition to opportunities such as dietician, psychological counseling and private health insurance, TEI provides many opportunities by considering the Work/Life balance of its employees. On the other hand, it carries out social responsibility projects for future generations to live in a more sustainable world and increases its support for education every day.

While creating a sustainable environment by protecting natural resources, TEI aims to increase economic growth and national welfare. Supporting the green economy with its investments, TEI develops more efficient production methods through innovation and unique product studies and utilizes methods such as lean production.
As a major player in the global market, TEI is one of Türkiye's leading companies in innovation and sustainability with its production and employment capacity. It also guides its subcontractors to improve themselves in this field.
Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reduction Target
TEI, as part of its sustainability strategy, has developed a sustainability roadmap to combat climate change and achieve the Carbon Net Zero target for Scop 1-2 (GHG) greenhouse gas emissions by 2053. In this direction, by determining 2024 as the base year, a 20% reduction target was targeted in 2033 compared to the base year.
