Quality and reliability are critical values for the aviation industry. Effective operation of quality management systems plays a significant role in provision of a reliable framework to the organization in product and service offering and risk mitigation processes. Our objective at TEI is to achieve a customer-oriented, holistic quality, produce high quality products and ensure constant development. To achieve the quality target we set for ourselves, requirements of globally-recognized quality management systems are implemented at TEI. TEI has been certified according to the EN / AS 9100 which is the standard for defining the quality management system requirements for the aerospace and defense industry.

TEI has required international certificates to be a party to the global competition within the scope of maintenance, repair and revision (MRO) operations, to give services in international standards by aiming at the high quality and sustainability. TEI has been certificated in accordance with EN/AS 9110 standard, which describes the requirements of quality management system for aviation maintenance organizations, and it has been authorized as EASA Part 145 certified body by European Civil Aviation Authority.

The effort of TEI management and TEI employees within the quality management system has brought successful business results, growing business volume and important awards by customers and various institutions. Making TEI a worldwide design, production and service center, this has increased the quality and ownership of the quality management system within TEI.

Business Continuity Management System

In line with its vision of “Having globally competitive indigenous power systems”, TEI fulfills the requirements of ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management System, which serves the purposes of strengthening operational durability, meeting customer expectations by maintaining non-stop operations in times of crisis with a structure that includes auxiliary industry and suppliers, minimizing the effects by evaluating the dimensions of possible disaster/crisis/incident in the fastest and most accurate way by standards and legal requirements, taking necessary actions quickly, establishing a prudent business continuity against emergencies such as possible earthquakes and terrorist attacks, crisis management and communication planning process.

TEI has become “the first company in Türkiye and one of the few companies in the world in the defense and aviation sector to have ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management System certificate certified by an accredited institution with the scope that includes all processes”

Information Security Management System

TEI intensively generates, complies, processes, uses and publishes information during the course of its critical functions, and it makes use of a great deal of information assets during these activities. Therefore, after the Information Security Management System was established and put into operation at TEI, it was subjected to an external audit conducted in accordance with the criteria of ISO-27001 and certified; and since then, TEI has been acting in accordance with the requirements of the Information Security Management System.

Environmental and Occupational Safety Management Systems

Environmental, occupational health and safety activities in TEI are handled and performed in a systematic order in accordance with the general strategies of the company.

Our employees, visitors, subcontractors and trainees, who are members of TEI family, have a safe working environment which complies with legal regulations, where human health is a priority and occupational health and safety risks are minimized. In order to provide with this working environment, TEI fulfills the OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Standard requirements.

In all its processes being aware of the importance and value of the environment in which they inhabit and live together, and ensure that the product is presented to the customer starting from the design, TEI is a company using clean production technologies, reducing natural resource consumption, operating with zero waste principles and a culture of risk prevention.

In order to ensure that the next generations have a sustainable and clean ecosystem, TEI fulfills the legal regulations and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Standard requirements.

Energy, Environment and Occupational Health Safety Policy

TEl designs the future by reassuring human beings and environment and target excellent results by making its best. In this direction, it is TEI's policy to deal with the protection of people and the environment in terms of health and safety with a proactive approach and provides resources and support to a management system that aims to continuously improve its energy performance. It is TEI's policy to ensure the consultation and participation of  especially employee representatives, all levels of the organization and its stakeholders in all its field of activity.

Within the scope of this policy, basic principles that are in harmony with our values have been determined:

TEI complies with the national regulations and other terms on energy, environmental and occupational health and safety, it abides by international rules related to its sector and makes the application systematically.

In order to keep environmental and occupational accidents and occupational diseases, in all our processes and new application at the zero point, it determines sources of dangers and risks and environmental aspects and impacts, it prepares action plans to reduce these risks/impacts and assess opportunities.

For prevention of work accidents or occupational disease, protection of the health and   safety risks and improving health and safety conditions, it provides employees, visitors, contractors, staff and interns with the most appropriate personal protective equipment for work risk and gives more priority to collective protection measures than personal protection.

Taking physical, chemical and biological effects and risks of work environment into consideration, it conducts health surveillance.

It assesses the risks of activities affecting energy performance and prevents or mitigates undesirable risks in the continuous improvement of energy performance. It identifies and implements opportunities that will contribute to the energy performance and continuous improvement of the energy system.

It aims to supply energy efficient products, to use natural resources and energy more efficiently, and to reduce energy consumption in the activities, services and purchases, design processes. While increasing environmental performance by using recycling and re-evaluation alternatives to the extent possible, it tries to reduce its impact on the environment by adopting the life cycle principle and taking into account the improvement of energy performance.

It prepare plans for intervention especially for emergency prevention, creates a structure that will interfere, and implements the plan and revise it.

Within the scope of Energy, Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety, by giving education for employees, visitors, contractors, staff and interns, it raises awareness among employees and stakeholders. In this way, it creates a culture of energy, environmental and occupational health and safety, and provides adoption of it.

It regularly monitors and measures the performance of activities carried out for the protection of the environment, energy efficiency projects that will have a positive impact on climate change, and ensuring the health and safety of the employees in the organization, with a view to continuous improvement.
