TEI, Türkiye's leading company in aviation engines, provided educational support to 220 children in the earthquake-affected region by establishing an Intelligence Workshop in Kahramanmaraş on the second anniversary of the February 6 earthquakes.
After two devastating earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş, which profoundly impacted the nation and affected 11 provinces, TEI sustained its support for the earthquake-affected region throughout 2023, and in 2024, it established an Intelligence Workshop in Hatay to support students' education. On the second anniversary of the earthquake, TEI opened an Intelligence Workshop at Kullar Süleyman Şahin Primary School in the Nurhak district of Kahramanmaraş, where approximately 220 children are receiving education. In 2023 TEI’s support, rescue teams successfully saved two individuals one child and one adult— from the rubble in the same location.
TEI completed and made available the Intelligence Workshop, which features a library stocked with books recommended by the Ministry of National Education and intelligence-enhancing games designed to support children's cognitive development. TEI is running social responsibility projects, particularly in the fields of education, environment, and healthcare, and will also continue its initiatives in the earthquake-affected region.
