TEI, one of the most important aerospace and defense industry companies of Eskişehir and our country, provided aid to the earthquake region with its employees.
Following the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş on 6 February 2023, TEI, in coordination with AFAD and the Governor of Eskişehir, provided in-kind and cash assistance to address the hostile conditions and meet the urgent needs of disaster victims.
Seven trucks and one lorry with generators, blankets, lamps, stoves, heaters, hygiene materials, basic food, water, and clothes collected from the company's Eskişehir campus with the cooperation of TEI staff reached the earthquake area through the Eskişehir Governorate and AFAD.
TEI, which took action after receiving the news of the earthquake, also led the search and rescue team formed by its trained and technically equipped volunteers in coordination with AFAD to the rescue operations in the earthquake area. TEI search and rescue team, which started work without losing any time, continues its rescue efforts in coordination with AFAD to meet the needs of the citizens in the region while the rescue of the citizens under the rubble continues.
