Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Dönmez, who came to Eskişehir to participate in a series of programs, visited TEI. Eskişehir Governor Erol Ayyıldız, Deputy Minister Prof. Şeref Kalaycı and the accompanying delegation attended the visit.
TEI General Manager Prof. Mahmut F. Akşit recounted TEI's indigenous engine projects, international engine parts and module production capabilities, maintenance, repair works and test infrastructures to Dönmez, who made inspections at TEI during his visit to Eskişehir.
Following the briefing, Fatih Dönmez visited the exhibition area showing TEI's indigenous engine projects, works and achievements in its fields of activities and signed the TEI Memorial Book. Dönmez also received information about TEI's new engine project TEI-TF6000 and then participated in the tests of TEI-PD170 and TEI-TS1400 engine projects. TEI General Manager Prof. Mahmut F. Akşit presented the calligraphic art piece in memory of the visit to Dönmez, which is embroidered with the TEI-TS1400 Turboshaft Engine pattern, who also examined the national hush house created by the team at TEI, where the tests of the TEI-TS1400 Turboshaft Engine are performed. After the visit, Minister Dönmez said, "I congratulate the whole team, especially our General Manager Prof. Mahmut Akşit, who made us extremely proud with their successes and breakthroughs."
