The leading engine company of Türkiye, TEI has launched its TEI-TF10000 engine in the Türkiye Innovation Week.
Organized in Istanbul Halic Congress Center on 12-13 December, the most powerful indigenous engine of Türkiye left its mark in Türkiye Innovation Week. The launching of the TEI-TF10000 engine designed by TEI was done in the event.
The TEI-TF10000 engine which was designed for KIZILELMA-class unmanned combat systems, fast assault boats, power plants and can be used in regional passenger planes and a military turbofan engine is one that stands out as an important technological development and demonstration for TEI and Türkiye in the way towards the engine of the National Combat Aircraft (TF-X). The engine will be able to offer solutions for thrust in heavy class attack helicopters such as ATAK-2 with different configurations produced from its core. The identical "mock-up" of the engine which will produce 10 thousand pounds of thrust with the after burner module built on the TEI-TF6000 was presented to those who are interested for the first time.
In the opening ceremony of the event, which was honored with the attendance of the President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, TEI was given the "Strategical Partner" award.
The event which adapted the concept of "the New century of Innovation" the TEI CEO Prof. Mahmut F. Aksit attended the panel that centered around the topic of "Türkiye as the Rising Star of the Defence Industry", in which prominent people from the sector participated.
