Making significant contributions to the global aviation industry, TEI manufactures parts and endeavors for Türkiye's national aviation engines, while also conducting successful maintenance, repair, testing and engineering activities.
TEI has long been the leading company in Türkiye for maintenance, repair, testing, and engineering activities across a broad portfolio of military engines, and continues to make efforts for expanding its recognition and reliability in the international arena. For the maintenance of F110 engines powering F16 and F15 aircraft, TEI has extended its long-standing cooperation with GE Aerospace, the main engine manufacturer, to provide service support for F110 engines in the global fleet. At the 2023 Paris Air Show, TEI signed an agreement with GE Aerospace, which authorizes TEI to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul services for F110 engines in the fleets of Oman and Singapore.
In the first month of 2024, maintenance, repair and technology upgrade operations were conducted for an F110-GE-129 engine belonging to the Oman Air Force, with the dedicated contributions of TEI employees. The engine, upgraded to F110-GE-129D, was delivered to the customer ready for flight. This work holds particular importance as it marks the first Oman Air Force engine whose maintenance activities were completed by TEI, and it will also serve as a guide for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of F110-GE-129C engines belonging to Singapore Air Force, which are planned for the future. TEI, an important player in the global aviation industry, will continue its activities at full steam ahead.
