TEI gave a plaque to its employees who were awarded to "Management Outstanding Achievement Award" and "Management Project Outstanding Achievement Award" with their 2019 activities and to employees who contributed to the Turkey's first indigenous and national aviation engine, which is TEI-PD170 Turbodiesel Aviation Engine, in a ceremony it held.
The ceremony, in which TEI executives and employees participated, started with the opening speech of the Chairman and CEO Prof. Mahmut F. Akşit. Akşit, congratulated the employees who were deemed worthy of Management Outstanding Achievement Award and Management Project Outstanding Achievement Award in his opening speech; he emphasized that TEI-PD170 project is a turning point not only for TEI but also for the history of Turkish aviation and thanked all the employees who contributed to the project. Akşit who emphasized that believing in the goals set and working with determination in this direction is one of the most important factors for the realization of the goals, made a presentation summarizing all the processes that took place within the scope of the project from the beginning of the project to the first tests and from serial production celebrations to delivery ceremonies of TEI-PD170 Turbodiesel Aviation Engine after his speech.
The ceremony ended after the plaques of all employees who contributed to the project were presented.
