As part of the Women of Aviation Worldwide Week, TEI's "Strong Women of Aviation" have organized visits from secondary school to university, and they have introduced the aviation and defense industry to the young girls.
TEI has carried out many events in the coordination of Provincial Directorate of National Education in Eskişehir during the Women of Aviation Worldwide Week. On the first day of the week, TEI's the authorized persons have come together with 300 students from 7 secondary schools, and they have introduced TEI as well as the aviation and defense industry. On the second day of the events, the female students from 3 high schools in Eskisehir have been hosted at TEI. During the organization, the female employees have given speeches to the female students. Following the company presentation and industry introductory speeches, a facility tour has been organized. During such tour, the female students have been informed on-site about how aviation engine parts are produced and TEI's capabilities in such field. The students have also taken the opportunity to see closely the unique and national aviation engines developed by Türkiye's leading engine company, TEI. During the week, the "Strong Women of Aviation", serving at TEI, have also visited the universities. The industry professionals, who have reunited with the students studying at Eskisehir Osmangazi University and at Eskisehir Technical University, have introduced the aviation industry and TEI to the young persons, and they have answered the questions about their career goals.
On March 8 International Women's Day, the "Strong Women of Aviation" have come together. The Women's Day have been celebrated for TEI women during the event organized. In order to support the women affected by the earthquake, the bags, which are prepared through the products purchased from the earthquake area, have been provided as gifts to the female employees.
TEI has been selected as the "The Most Female Friendly Corporation Worldwide" by the Institute for Women of Aviation Worldwide for 7 times with the activities that it has carried out in the previous years and the practices that it has implemented for its female employees.
