In addition to TEI’s ₺1.000.000 donation as company to “We are enough for us Turkey” National Solidarity Campaign personally initiated by our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, TEI made another ₺806.140 donation with the contribution of TEI employees.
Noting that COVID-19 disease that emerged in Wuhan City, in China in December 2019 and has spread to whole world in a short period of time and posed serious threat especially to people in the risk group has affected business life as well as all parts of life, President and CEO of TEI, Prof. Mahmut F. Aksit said that, “There are many people who were affected financially due to epidemic and as the corporate, TEI felt the necessity of assuming responsibility to give support. In previous weeks, our company donated ₺1.000.000. We also started a volunteer based donation campaign among our employees and members of TEI family from all levels including me and our senior management made additional ₺806.140 donation to the campaign. I would like to thank to all TEI employees who participated in the campaign and express my wished that this collected donation will be help to cook soup at the homes of families who are in need.”
Underlining that TEI continues to work without any interruption especially for the national projects, Aksit stated, “Being aware that defense industry has strategic importance, we will continue to make production by taking all kinds of measures in our work environment unless our states gives contrary direction. Due to measures taken carefully both in our work space by our company and in personal life of our employees, we continue to produce for our national projects and Turkey without any interruption.”
