At the launch of the "Unity of Power" Project, designed to strengthen its supply chain, TEI, Türkiye's leading engine company, gathered with its suppliers, including those included in the project's first phase. The project's goals and roadmap were presented at the launch event held in Eskişehir.
The event was attended by Prof. Mahmut F. Akşit, TEI's CEO, Emre Saylan, Vice President, Finance and Sourcing at TEI, TEI's executives, and representatives from supplier companies, and TEI's supply chain strategy, vision, mission, and core values were presented. TEI emphasized the importance of growing together as an ecosystem while launching large-scale projects and highlighted the role of effective collaboration in achieving operational excellence.
Speaking at the event, Prof. Akşit, reflected on the company's 40-year development journey and stated: "We have the responsibility to share the know-how we have gained with our suppliers, who have walked alongside us, as we transformed from a company established 40 years ago for parts production and engine assembly to one that now designs and manufactures its engines. Under the leadership of the Presidency of Defense Industries, we are marching ahead with the motto "We Are Stronger When We Are Together" to raise the bar even higher in national aviation."
Taking the stage at the event, Emre Saylan stated: "We believe that true success can only be achieved through strong collaborations. We are pleased to have you on this journey, as we work together to do better and achieve success together."
As part of the "Unity of Power" Project, suppliers will receive support such as establishing development plans for professionalization, nourishing achievements through incentives and rewards, and taking on more active roles in management processes.
TEI aims to provide its supply chain with a developing and sustainable structure through this project, which TEI plans to expand across its entire supply network in the upcoming period.
