TEI, Türkiye's leading company in aviation engines, has been honored with another 3 international awards for its occupational health and safety and social responsibility efforts.
Making a name for itself with achievements across all areas of activity, TEI continues to receive international awards.
Through the "Strong Women of Aviation" events held as part of the Women of Aviation Worldwide Week, TEI, along with its female employees, met with secondary school, high school, and university students, and introduced them the aviation and defense industry. TEI also welcomed high school students from Eskişehir to its headquarter, and showed them manufacturing of aviation engine parts and its capabilities in the relevant field, as well as Türkiye's national aviation engines, during the plant tour. On March 8th, International Women's Day, TEI remembered the women affected by the earthquake and gifted bags prepared with products bought from the earthquake-affected regions to its female employees, aiming to support the women in those regions. TEI has been honored for the 8th time by the "Institute for Women of Aviation Worldwide" (IWOAW) as the "The Most Women Friendly Company Worldwide" for the events it held for female students during the Women of Aviation Week and for providing opportunities for its female employees. This long-running social responsibility project by TEI also brought the "Leadership in Community Service and Corporate Social Responsibility" award to TEI at the international "Communitas Awards," where the most socially sensitive social responsibility projects are recognized.
TEI also garnered the "International Occupational Safety Award" in the world's most prestigious international competition held by the "British Safety Council" in the field of occupational health and safety. This award helped the company, which strives for excellence by placing value and trust in people and the environment, demonstrate the importance it attaches to its employees once again.
