TEI-PD170, Türkiye's First National Turbodiesel Aviation Engine, Broke a Record with 35 Hours of Flight

Türkiye's first national turbodiesel aviation engine TEI-PD170, designed and manufactured by TEI, broke the record for the longest flight time achieved by a national aviation engine with its 35-hour non-stop flight with Turkish Aerospace's AKSUNGUR UAV. In its previous flights with AKSUNGUR, the TEI-PD170 engine also broke a record in this field by exceeding an altitude of 30,000 feet.

Running until October 1 at Çiğli Airport, TEKNOFEST, the world's largest aviation, space and technology festival, attracts the attention of aviation enthusiasts with its flight shows. During the festival, many different aircraft and UAVs perform demonstration flights. Turkish Aerospace's national UAV AKSUNGUR will take off from Ankara with TEI's national engine TEI-PD170 and greet TEKNOFEST participants in the skies of İzmir.
