TEI, a pioneer in Türkiye’s aviation engines sector, has added another initiative to its social responsibility efforts in education by providing a new library for Eskişehir Anadolu İmam Hatip High School.
As part of the project, TEI carried out all construction work for the library, creating a variety of study and reading areas suitable for both individual and group work. Designed to provide students with a comfortable environment for reading and productive study, the library features bookshelves, study desks, reading and seating areas, and a range of furniture and equipment tailored to its needs. In addition to establishing the library’s physical infrastructure, TEI supplied a wide selection of books chosen in line with the recommendations of the Eskişehir Provincial Directorate of National Education, making them available to students.
The library’s opening ceremony was attended by Eskişehir Deputy Governor Akın Ağca, TEI CEO Prof. Dr. Mahmut F. Akşit, Eskişehir Provincial Director of National Education Sinan Aydın, Eskişehir Odunpazarı District Director of National Education Murat Sertsöz, officials from the Directorate of National Education, school administrators, teachers, and students.
Continuing its social responsibility efforts in education through various projects throughout the year, TEI also provided stationery supplies last week to more than 800 primary and middle school students attending eight schools in Eskişehir’s Mahmudiye district, in coordination with the Eskişehir Provincial Directorate of National Education. With initiatives ranging from cognitive skills workshops and student education and development programs to school support and donations of educational materials, TEI will continue its social responsibility projects that contribute to the development of children and young people.
