TEI, the first company in Türkiye to get the international Nadcap certification for additive manufacturing technologies, has further solidified its global leadership by achieving Nadcap accreditation for 46 special process capabilities across 11 different commodities among more than 4,000 companies in the aviation, space, and defense industries worldwide.
Special processes that alter the physical, chemical, electrical, and metallurgical properties of materials enhance the durability of engine parts, enabling them to withstand the challenging conditions experienced in aviation engines. Nadcap accreditation certifies that these special processes take place by customer requirements and international standards and ensures that high quality and safety standards are met.
In the Nadcap accreditation program, one of the critical indicators of competence in special processes recognized by major engine manufacturers worldwide, TEI has become the first company in Türkiye to receive certification in additive manufacturing, which it achieved in June. Thanks to this certification, TEI now maintains its position as the global leader, a position it has shared since 2017.
