In addition to its projects executed in line with the needs of our country, TEI, Turkey's leading motor company, which designs and produces competitive, sustainable, indigenous products on a global scale, has launched TEI School of Aviation Engines in March 2021 in order to give students with a goal of career in the aviation sector the opportunity to get to know the sector closely and increase their knowledge in the field. More than 5,000 students from 167 different universities within Turkey and abroad were accepted to the TEI School of Aviation Engines, which is going to give its first graduates in June.
During this 14-week period, the first of the classes carried out on Saturdays was held by Prof. Mahmut F. Akşit, Chairman and CEO of TEI, with the topics such as the Importance of National Defence Technologies, the Basic Principles of Aviation and TEI's Place in the Aviation Engines Industry.
At the closing course of the program, where useful information about all areas of aviation such as gas turbine engines, piston engines, engine materials and special processes, safety in aviation engines, engine assembly capabilities and quality processes, engine and component tests are shared, students will be informed about how to improve themselves in the fields leading to business life.
Students who have successfully completed the TEI School of Aviation Engines will be admitted to the evaluation pool in TEI's recruitment and long-term internship programs. TEI School of Aviation Engines has attracted intensive attention from the students and it will open its doors to new students with up-to-date content every year.
