TEKNOFEST, Türkiye’s largest aviation, space and technology festival, will take place at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport from September 30 to October 4, featuring technology competitions, air shows, talks and a wide range of activities. Organized in line with the National Technology Initiative vision, the festival will bring together technology and aviation enthusiasts in the Southeastern Anatolia Region.
TEI, a TEKNOFEST stakeholder and competition organizer since 2019, will welcome visitors throughout the festival. TEI stand will feature TEI-TF10000, Türkiye’s most powerful national turbofan engine; TEI-TF6000, Türkiye’s first aircraft engine; TEI-TS1400, Türkiye’s first national helicopter engine; TEI-PD170, Türkiye’s first national turbodiesel aviation engine; and T700-TEI-701D, Türkiye’s first domestically produced helicopter engine. Alongside its national aviation engines, TEI will display components it manufactures for the LEAP engine, one of the most widely preferred aviation engines worldwide, as well as additive manufacturing components demonstrating the use of advanced manufacturing technologies in aviation engines. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about TEI’s work in aviation engines and take a closer look at the engines and components on display.
The winning teams in the Jet Engine Design Competition, organized by TEI as the lead organizer within the scope of the TEKNOFEST Technology Competitions, will receive their awards at TEKNOFEST Güneydoğu Şanlıurfa. By enabling aspiring young engineers to apply their theoretical knowledge to a real engineering problem, the competition allows TEI to help develop young people’s competencies in aviation engines and cultivate the skilled workforce Türkiye needs in this field.
TEI’s human resources representatives will also inform participants about the company’s talent programs and career opportunities. TEI will welcome visitors at stand M-3 throughout the festival, which will be open from September 30 to October 4.
