TEI, Türkiye’s leading aviation engine company, is showcasing its national engines and manufacturing capabilities at TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland, held at Gölcük Shipyard Command from August 20 to 23. At the TEI stand, visitors will have the opportunity to see Türkiye’s first aircraft engine, TEI-TF6000; Türkiye’s first national helicopter engine, TEI-TS1400; Türkiye’s first national turbodiesel aviation engine, TEI-PD170; Türkiye’s first domestically produced helicopter engine, T700-TEI-701D; and a domeplate component manufactured for the LM2500 marine gas turbine.
Organized as the maritime reflection of the National Technology Initiative vision, TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland is being held under the principal coordination of the Ministry of National Defense and the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation). Focusing on maritime and underwater technologies, the event features the Unmanned Underwater Systems Competition, the Underwater Rocket Competition, and the Unmanned Surface Vessel Competition, as well as exhibitions where visitors can tour Turkish Navy vessels, demonstrations by SAT, SAS, and naval aviation units, and various experience zones.
A TEKNOFEST stakeholder and competition organizer since 2019, TEI will welcome visitors to its stand throughout the event, presenting Türkiye’s progress in aviation engines and the company’s manufacturing capabilities for the global aviation industry. Attendance at TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland is free of charge; however, visitors are required to register online in advance.
