“Equivalent Gas Turbine Oil Development Cooperation Agreement” was signed between Koçak Speedol and TEI. Within the scope of the cooperation agreement signed, Koçak Speedol will develop the oils to be used in TEI's gas turbine engines.
Speaking at the signing ceremony took place on the 2nd day of SAHA EXPO held at Istanbul Expo Center between 25-28 October, TEI CEO Prof. Mahmut F. Akşit, “We consider the maximum indigenousness rate in the production of our engines that we design, develop and operate; we endeavour to develop all subsystems, even raw materials, with national facilities; we attach great importance to the collaborations we carry out with our domestic producers. Our studies with Koçak started for our piston engines, and with this agreement, it will be ensured that the oils we will use in our gas turbine engines will be developed and produced in Türkiye.", said.
Reminding that they use Koçak Speedol Aero Ultra Diesel S170 engine oil in TEI-PD170 Turbodiesel Aviation Engine within the scope of their current cooperation, and emphasizing that the increasing cooperation between domestic companies is in the interest of our country, Akşit said “I would like to thank SAHA İstanbul for enabling such cooperation agreements".
