TEI, Türkiye's national power in aviation engines, captured great attention with its national engines displayed at its booth during TEKNOFEST Cyprus, held in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus from May 1-4. Hosting hundreds of thousands of visitors, TEI brought the adventure of Türkiye's national aviation engines to technology enthusiasts in Cyprus.
The TEI-TF6000, Türkiye's first aircraft engine, the TEI-PD170, Türkiye's first national turbodiesel aviation engine, and the TEI-TS1400, Türkiye's first national helicopter engine, all exhibited at TEKNOFEST Cyprus, attracted significant interest from both aspiring engineers and defense industry enthusiasts. Visitors were presented with information on the design, production, assembly, and testing processes of aviation engines, while also having the opportunity to examine the national engines at TEI's booth closely.
Ersin Tatar, President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Prof. Haluk Görgün, Secretary of Turkish Defence Industries, and numerous high-level guests visited the TEI's booth.
The enthusiasm of TEKNOFEST, the world's largest aviation, space, and technology festival, will continue in Istanbul. The thrill of the awards in the technology competitions held as part of TEKNOFEST will also be enjoyed in Istanbul. The top three teams in the Turbojet Engine Combustion Chamber Design and Turbojet Engine Control Unit Design competitions, with TEI as the primary executor, will be presented with their awards in Istanbul.
