Prof. Numan Kurtulmuş, Deputy Chairman of AK Party, visited TEI, Türkiye's leading engine company, during his visit to attend various events in Eskişehir.
Kurtulmuş and the accompanying delegation learned about Türkiye's aviation engines in the TEI-designed museum area from TEI CEO Prof. Mahmut F. Akşit. Kurtulmuş also observed aviation engines on-site which are designed, developed, operated, and produced while keeping Türkiye's national needs in mind, and he also examined the manufacturing contributions made by TEI to global aviation and the parts and modules manufactured within the scope of civil and military engine programs for which it is the largest supplier.
Akşit expressed his gratitude to Kurtulmuş for his visit, emphasizing that as a result of the skills that TEI has gained and developed, particularly with the indigenous engines it has produced in the last 8 years, that they have both the technical and employee infrastructure to develop engines even for the 5th generation fighter aircraft with the latest technology in military aviation.
