The TEI-TJ300 Turbojet Engine, developed domestically and nationally by TEI for the Intermediate Range Anti-ship Missile, has broken a world record.
While the best of the other competing engines in the 230-250 mm class can produce a maximum thrust of 1,250N with a diameter of 250mm, TEI-TJ300 Engine has broken a world record in this class by reaching 1,342 N thrust with a diameter of 240 mm. This stage is the highest level of propulsion achieved within this engine diameter in the world.
The first prototype start-up ceremony of the TEI-TJ300 Turbojet Engine, designed domestically and nationally by Turkish engineers as a whole, was held in June, 2020 with the participation of Mustafa Varank, by Minister of Industry and Technology.
After completing the development and qualification tests of the TEI-TJ300 Turbojet Engine designed for use in the intermediate anti-ship missile, the mass production process will begin.
