TEI Hosted the ELMAS Project Eskisehir Region Workshop

Within the scope of the ELMAS Program, designed as part of the National Competence Move carried out by the Secretariat of Defense Industries, the ELMAS Project Industry-Specific Workshop, was held in partnership with the Provincial Directorate of National Education in Eskişehir and the Eskisehir Aviation Cluster and hosted by TEI with the participation of Hüseyin Aksoy, the Governor of Eskişehir, Prof. Hakan Karataş, Deputy Secretary of Turkish Defense Industries, Prof.Cenk Aktaş, the Head of Defense Industry Academy, Sinan Aydın, the Provincial Director of National Education, Prof.Mahmut F. Akşit, the CEO of ESAC and the CEO of TEI, and also the guests.

The ELMAS Program, which aims to develop competent mechanics with the current and future requirements of the industry, represents a strategic turning point for young people to make a more substantial contribution to the defense industry.

As part of the "Vocational and Technical Education Cooperation Protocol" signed on June 2, 2025, by Prof. Yusuf Tekin, the Minister of National Education, and Haluk Görgün, the Secretary of Turkish Defence Industries, for the purpose of training qualified human resources in the field of defense industry within the scope of the National Competence Initiative, will be implemented in 13 vocational and technical anatolian high schools in 12 cities, including Eskişehir. Among the 13 schools selected based on their openness to development, strategic locations, proximity to defense industry establishments, and suitability of fields and branches, Sabiha Gökçen Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in Eskişehir was selected as a protocol school.

The aim is to improve the technical competencies of the students, creating the human resource to contribute to the national technological production capacity of Eskişehir and developing the physical and human resource infrastructure of the protocol school in cooperation with the industry for the purpose of growing a qualified workforce for the aviation and defense industry upon the participation of the leading companies in the industry, in particular TEI, thanks to the efforts to focus on the strong aviation and defense industry in Eskişehir, as coordinated by the Eskişehir Aviation Cluster.

Having continued its cooperation, uninterruptedly, with the Eskişehir Aviation Cluster since the day of the establishment of the latter, TEI plays an active role in meeting the city's human resource needs through the initiatives that support professional development. Implementing talent acquisition projects such as the Aviation Engines School, Aviation Mechanic School, TEI Professional, Dual Vocational Training Center (IMEM), and Turkish Employment Agency (ISKUR) On-the-Job Training Program, TEI also enhances employee satisfaction through various practices such as employee awards, in addition to its efforts to improve its current mechanics.

Beyond being a company that manufactures aviation engines, TEI is recognized with numerous national and international awards for its efforts in fulfilling its mission as a school that trains human resources to secure the future of the aviation and defense industries, drawing on over 40 years of experience. Thanks to the ELMAS Program, TEI will build on its success in the field of education and continue to strengthen Türkiye's vision of independence by increasing production quality and capacity through the right skills imparted to future mechanics.
