TEI, Türkiye’s leading aviation engine company, has added another initiative to its corporate social responsibility efforts in education by making the 17th “Intelligence Workshop,” established at General Halil Sözer Middle School, available to students.
TEI opened an Intelligence Workshop at General Halil Sözer Middle School in the Odunpazarı district of Eskişehir as part of the “Intelligence Workshop Project” coordinated by the Eskişehir Provincial Directorate of National Education. The workshop, made available to over 700 students, features Ministry of National Education-approved reading books, educational intelligence games that contribute to children’s development, and desktop computers.
The opening ceremony was attended by Yakup Guney, the Deputy Governor of Eskisehir; Sinan Aydin, the Provincial Director of National Education in Eskisehir; Prof. Mahmut F. Akşit, the CEO of TEI; Provincial Directorate officials; school administrators; teachers; and students.
In addition to the services and activities it provides to the global aviation and Turkish defense industries, TEI will continue its social responsibility initiatives in education, as it does in many other areas.
