TEI, Türkiye’s leading aviation engine company, brought its indigenous and national aviation engines to young people, aviation enthusiasts, and visitors at the Youth and Aviation Festival held at the 2nd Main Jet Base Command in Çiğli, Izmir, as part of the Turkish Air Force Command’s 115th anniversary celebrations.
The festival, which welcomed tens of thousands of visitors, featured Turkish Stars and SOLOTÜRK aerobatic displays, runway and flyovers by platforms in the Turkish Air Force inventory, paramotor and parachute jump demonstrations, displays of various aviation platforms, simulator experiences, a personnel rescue drill, and concert events.
On the first day of the festival, TEI’s Vice President for Service and Product Support, Murat İlker Çelik, briefed Turkish Air Force Commander General Ziya Cemal Kadıoğlu—who visited the TEI booth—on TEI’s operations and engines.
