The Global Strategies in the Defense and Aerospace Industry Conference held in Antalya, in collaboration with the Secretariat of Defence Industries and the Defence and Aerospace Industry Exporters' Association. Export champions of the industry were also awarded at the conference. TEI, Türkiye's leading company in aviation engines, was awarded first place as the Top Exporter in the Aircraft Engines and Components Group. Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Öztürk, Chairman of TEI, received the award from Hüseyin Avşar, Deputy Secretary of Defence Industries.
Building on its export success through high value-added production capabilities for global aviation and the maintenance services it offers for aviation engines, TEI continues to provide critical support for numerous key projects worldwide. TEI is the world's largest supplier for these engine programs: LEAP, GEnx, and GE9X, which are the most preferred new-generation civil aviation engines. TEI is also a key supplier for the future civil aviation engine, CFM RISE, which focuses on sustainability in aviation engines.
In addition to its manufacturing and MRO activities, TEI has been taking Türkiye's national aviation platforms to the skies, particularly with the domestic engines it designs and produces under the guidance of the Secretariat of Defence Industries for the past 10 years
