After all the applications submitted to the job postings are carefully examined by our HR Department, we make phone calls with the candidates who have the desired qualifications and we both convey the requirements of our positions to our candidates and receive information about their resumes from our candidates.
In our recruitment process, we use scientifically developed tests and inventories with proven validity and reliability. We perform tests aiming to measure technical knowledge, foreign language level and personality traits of our candidates whose applications are considered suitable after the phone interview, and we use the results of these tests as evaluation criteria in our recruitment process.
As a result of the relevant exams and tests, we try to get to know our candidates who have knowledge and experience regarding the needs of the position by organizing human resources and technical department interviews, and we evaluate the coincidence of the education, competence, qualification and experience expected from them depending on the position.

Every year, corporate objective scorecard and the goals of senior management are determined in line with the strategic development plan of the company. Performance goals are broken down by the senior management starting from one-level down going down the line to lower levels. Goal and competency-based performance assessment system is used at TEI, which is integrated into SAP system. The goals of each employee are determined with the manager at the beginning of the year and entered on the system by the employee. Employees who start working at the first half of the relevant year are included in the performance assessment system for the year. At the end of the year, the figures on goal achievement are entered into the system by the employee, and the goal achievement score of the employee is determined by the system. The competencies are evaluated on the basis of titles, and measured at 3 levels. Depending on the competency rating of our employees, individual training and career plans are provided.
The major purpose of the Career Development System, which is implemented at TEI and involves all personnel (Engineers, Specialists, Technicians), is to offer our employees a career opportunity that will enable them to take themselves to higher levels based on mainly their performance and potential. Established for this purpose, the Career Development System shows the possible roadmaps starting from the very first days of recruitment by integrating the employees into their career maps.
At TEI, in addition to external recruitment for both technical and administrative positions, internal posting is also available for vacant positions. In case of any internal posting, the requirements and criteria of the position are specified. Our employees, who apply to internal posting, can also be subjected to some other tests in accordance with the requirements of the position and personal inventory, and interviewed. At the end of the assessment, our employees, whose applications are found eligible, are transferred to new departments or positions.

Every year, "Title-Based Personal Development Training Catalog" is created in accordance with the competencies expected from our employees on title-basis, and is planned to be achieved by the support of professionals.

There are 4 core competencies for all positions at TEI. Also expected competencies, level of these competencies and behavioral indicators are defined for each title by taking into consideration the business families and role structure. For this purpose, relevant competency sets are used in selection & placement, performance assessment, training planning and various processes.

TEI has a category of “Employee Awards” where employees can reward each other. Employees can nominate their colleagues for awards in predetermined categories through the forms they fill out during the year. Committees consisting entirely of volunteers evaluate the forms at the end of the year and determine the employees who deserve to be awarded. Employee awards are given to the owners at a ceremony held at the end of the year.
