Aviation Grade Stainless Steel and Nickel Based Super Alloy Development Project
Process development studies were carried out to obtain the required base alloys by primary melting method, to convert them into aerospace-grade stainless steel and nickel-based super alloys by secondary melting methods, and to improve the mechanical properties of these alloys with secondary processes within the scope of DİNÇ Project.
The DİNÇ Project, funded by the Defense Industry Agency (SSB) and performed under the main subcontractor of Akdaş Döküm and Tübitak-MAM, started in June 2018 and all process development and characterization activities were successfully completed and the project was finalized in June 2023 without any delay.
