TEI, Türkiye's leading company in aviation engines, continues to support education at all levels. Following the training programs for university students, young talents and professionals, TEI has now initiated a training program for vocational high school students.
Commissioned under the auspices of the Governorship of Eskişehir and in coordination with the Provincial Directorate of National Education, the Aviation Mechanic School was inaugurated with a ceremony attended by Hüseyin Aksoy, the Governor of Eskisehir, Assoc. Prof. Celile Eren Ökten, the Deputy Minister of National Education, and hosted by Prof. Fuat Erdal, the Rector of Anadolu University, Sinan Aydın, the Provincial Director of National Education and Prof. Mahmut F. Akşit, the CEO of TEI.
After the speeches and protocol signing, Prof. Mahmut F. Akşit explained "TEI101", the first lesson of the Aviation Mechanic School, to students from vocational high schools in Eskisehir.
The 8-week Aviation Mechanic School program includes mechanic courses related to production and manufacturing in the aviation and defense industries, and aims to enhance know-how and skill competence.
