TEI has won 2 gold medals from applications all over the world in human resources management.
TEI, which made a name for itself with its achievements in the development of indigenous aviation engines needed by Turkey, its record-breaking engines and the “Best Supplier” awards it has received in the global aviation engine manufacturing industry; won 2 gold awards in the “Human Capital Management Excellence” category in the “Brandon Hall Excellence Awards” programme, one of the most important international awards in the business world, organised by the independent research company Brandon Hall Group. TEI also won the “Employee Engagement Achievement Award” in the “Stevie Awards for Great Employers” programme, one of the most prestigious awards in the business world.
Prof. Mahmut F. Akşit, Chairman & CEO, told press members during the meeting in the Eskişehir Campus “It is possible to develop an aviation engine from plain white paper, from scratch, with a staff that is both equipped, dedicated and competent, from engineer to technician, from expert to manager. We attach great importance to all the work we do in the field of human resources for this purpose.” Akşit, stating that TEI’s journey to human resources excellence is the story of a systematic listening, planning, and implementation cycle, said that all studies were progressing within the framework of the human resources strategies they had determined as “Gaining Talent”, “Exploring Talent”, “Retaining the Talent”, and “Preparing Talent for the Future”.

Akşit, stating that they received 310,240 applications for the job advertisements they published in the last 1 year, reminded that they have the title of “Best Employer” based on the research results conducted in the last year, added “TEI won the “Best Employer” award from the eyes of our employees, the “Best Distance Learning Programme” award from the eyes of students, the “Most Female Friendly Corporation” award from the eyes of the Institute for Women Of Aviation Worldwide, the “Respect for Human” award from the eyes of the candidates who applied for a job, and finally, the “Brandon Hall Group Human Resources Excellence Award” and the “Stevie Awards for Great Employers” award from the eyes of the international business world with the effective human resources management we carried out.
