TEI Aviation Technician School, a program launched by TEI, Türkiye's leading company in aviation engines, to train future technicians, began its third season with an opening lecture by Prof. Mahmut F. Akşit, CEO of TEI.
The opening ceremony for the TEI Aviation Technician School, organized under the auspices of the Governorship of Eskişehir and coordinated by the Provincial Directorate of National Education in Eskişehir, was attended by Prof. Mahmut F. Akşit, CEO of TEI, Sinan Aydın, Eskişehir Provincial Director of National Education, officials from the Provincial Directorate of National Education and TEI, teachers, and students. Addressing the students during the ceremony, Sinan Aydın emphasized the importance of vocational education. He underlined that working on national defense industry projects is also a service to the country. Finally, Aydın thanked TEI for its support in this field and wished the students success in the new term.
Prof. Mahmut F. Akşit, who met with students in TEI 101 for the opening lecture of the program, explained the importance of domestic and national defense industry technologies and shared TEI's activities and Türkiye's journey in national aviation engines with the participants. The TEI Aviation Technician School, which lasts 11 weeks, offers technical courses in production and manufacturing for the aviation and defense industries.
Continuing to support educational efforts at every level, from pre-school to postgraduate education, TEI aims to enhance the technical knowledge and skills of vocational high school students in the sector and to support employment in Eskişehir through the TEI Aviation Technician School, launched in 2024.
